Fort Carson's Childcare programs consist of full-day and hourly
childcare for children six weeks to 5 years old. They provide a
creative environment for your child with physical growth and educational
activities as part of the program. Fort Carson offers three centers
with these daycare options. They are located in Bldg. 6058 (East
Center), Bldg. 6060 (West Center) and in Bldg. 6267 (the Annex). The
West Center offers both full-day and hourly care. They have a 303
children capacity (which includes 74 spaces for hourly care). The
East Center offers full-day care for 303 children. The Annex offers
Kindergarten care, full-day care, and a part-day pre-school. Some of
these services do have waiting lists. Call for specifics.
Special Needs Reource Team (SNRT)
Children who have special needs
are required to be staffed through the Special Needs Resource Team (SNRT) before
admission to CYS programs and/or activities. The SNRT is a
comprehensive group of professionals that assists in determining the least
restrictive environment for children or youth who require specialized childcare
or activities. This team identifies the most appropriate child care program or
activity placement for children with health issues, developmental delays,
physical, social, emotional, learning or behavioral concerns. As a
parent, you are a vital member of this team.

schedules. Providers in home-based care follow the same guidelines
and training schedule as the CYS center-based programs. For
