Fort Campbell has excellent Youth Services Program.
The Taylor
Youth Center and 24/7 Teen Club on post provide youth with several activities
and recreation opportunities.
Eligible youth are family members of active
duty, retired military, and civilian employees at Fort Campbell.
Summer
Instructional Clinics are also available for children ages 4-18 years of
age.
Participants are required to be registered in CYS and enrolled in
Youth Fitness or Sports activities for ages 4 and up. Annual physicals are
required before the child participates in any sport activity.
School Age
Services: Offers comprehensive School Age Services (SAS) programs include before
and after school care, and summer day camps. These programs are
designed for working parents who need to provide structural care and supervision
during work hours. All SAS programs provide developmental
opportunities for each participant by offering activities to stimulate the
intellectual, physical, and psychological growth of children.
Middle
School/Teen Programs: Youth and teens are entitled to participate in
Middle School and Teen programs offered daily. Open recreation
options are free and some special events with nominal fees are offered monthly.

Teens enjoy a separate facility that has been designed for teens by
teens. Primarily the elected officers and project committees operate
the facility. Adult supervision, role modeling and mentoring are key

by setting them up with another youth who shares some of the same similarities

CURFEW
ON POST: All family members and guests 13-15 years old will be in
their quarters from 2200 until 0500 on weekdays and 2300 till 0500 on weekends,
holidays and summer vacation. All family members and guests 16-17 years old will
be their quarters from 2400 till 0500 during summer vacation periods, weekends
and holidays, unless accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.
During all other periods, all family members and guests 16-17 will be in their
quarters from 2300 until 0500.
YOUTH EMPLOYMENT
Youth seeking
employment information are eligible to use the Family Member Employment Program.
Seasonal workshops are held along with job search information and resume writing

The "Hire a Teen" program is designed for all teens
13-18.

DRIVERS LICENSE
Youth have the option to obtained a
Tennessee or a Kentucky Drivers License if reside on the installation. You must
be 15 years to get a drivers permit and 16 yrs to get a drivers license in
Tennessee.
To obtain a Kentucky drivers license you must be 16 years of age
or older.
OUT OF STATE LICENSE ISSUED TO A PERSON UNDER 16 YEARS OLD IS NOT
VALID ON KENTUCKY STREETS AND HIGHWAY.
