Fort Campbell Child Development Services (CDS) is accredited
through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
since April 1998.
All active duty, retirees, civilian and contractors
dependents are authorized to use the childcare center.
The two Childcare
Center provide quality full-time, hourly childcare and Part-Day Preschool
Program to children
6 weeks through 5 years of age. Additionally, small ratio
groups are available for addressing the individualized needs of each child.
Care for special needs children are also available in the
Center.
Childcare fees are based on total family income. Only the program
that considered childcare are based on total family income. Registration fees
are standard across all income levels. $18 per child or $40.00 per
family.
During registration the following documents is needed; completed
form registration, emergency contact, updated shot records and annual fees, and
a current LES.
Family Child Care (FCC) offers a warm, nuturing family
environment for children 4 weeks to 12 years of age.
Childcare provided by
certified providers in family homes on and off the installation. Full day child
care, part day child care, extended care and hourly care is provided by the
Family Child Care. (FCC) Child care fees are based on total family
income.
There is a waiting list for all childcare center on post.
You
can put your childs name on the waiting list before you arrival at Ft Campbell

NEW PARENT PROGRAMS
Several new parent
programs are provided to assist new parent.
The ACS New Parent Support
Program provide supportive and caring services to military families with
children birth up to three years of age.
The Chaplain Family Life through
Compassionate Friends provide a 'Grieving Parents Support Group' to parent who
have suffered the loss of a child through miscarriage, fetal demise, neo-natal
demise and SIDS.
