some renovated or drive through the city's and county's suburban thoroughfares
and feel at home The City of Fallon, and Churchill County is growing by leaps
and bounds.

DOWNTOWN FALLON AND WILLIAMS AVENUE (Alt 50)
Fallon, and
Churchill County is the financial, cultural, and government center. Curb appeal,
downtown Fallon streets have been renovated to attract new businesses,
residents, and visitors alike. Most stores are small, many are
owner-operated, and all pride themselves on offering personalized service. Among
the offerings are hunting and sporting goods, upscale men's and women's apparel,
antiques, jewelry, smoke shops, office and home furnishings. Dozens of
restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. There are several gambling Casinos with
their own restaurants.
Over on Williams Avenue (Alt 50) there are few
outside shopping strip centers. Some major department stores chains Wal-Mart
(Super Center breaking ground 05), Sears, Ace Hardware, Rite Aide. There are
major grocery stores, Safeway, Raley's, and a lot of mini stores' at all the gas
stations. Outside in the agricultural area are the farm markets of Lattin's
Berry Farms, Oasis Farmstead Dairy, and Workman's Farm crafts &
Nursery.

MEADOW WOOD MALL:
This great shopping place is light, airy and
conveniently located near major casinos and the Reno/Sparks Convention Center.
Macys, Mervyns, Sears, and JC Penney anchor at the Meadow Wood Mall, with more
than 100 shops and a large selection of eateries. Plenty of parking is
available, and the local bus system has a station on the south side of the mall.
Whether you want to find a cool haven from the summer heat or need a special
gift, this is Reno's best shopping. Hours and credit card acceptance vary per
store.
