CHAPEL PROGRAMS:
The base chapel provides a wide range of programs.In addition to Sunday Worship services, counseling services are available.  Please call the chaplain's office at (see Topic Contacts) for the latest schedule of services and programs.  The chapel is designated Building #351 and is located next to the Fitness Center near the Main Gate.  Information on local Christian churches, the Reno synagogues and mosque are available upon request.

Sunday Worship: 11:00 a.m.
Weddings require six premarital counseling sessions.
Baptisms require one pre-baptismal counseling session.

Naval Air Station Fallon offers a variety of activities and is proud to have a very complete Moral, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Program. The Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs are a great source of information on recreational opportunities. Programs are available to active and reserve forces as well as DoD civilians, retirees and their families.

RECREATION/SPORTING ACTIVITIES
    Recreation facilities include a large gymnasium with weights and fitness room, racket ball courts, aerobic rooms, and seasonal game sports.  The Fitness Center is a  state-of-the-art facility. Personal trainer consultations, assessments and exercise program services are available for a nominal fee.

The Desert Springs indoor pool offers a variety of year round aquatic activities to the military community including water aerobics, synchronized swimming (ages 6-16), stroke development classes, a masters swimming program, the annual polar bear swim, a swim club, lessons and lap swimming. The indoor pool boasts Fallon's only water slide, a special treat for kids and adults alike. Additionally, an outdoor pool is regular size (seasonal warmer months).  

Go-Karts/Batting Cages are seasonal;late Spring,Summer & early Fall only. Experience an exhilerating ride on the go-carts or practice your batting swing in our batting cages.

Golf Driving Range operates year round. The 300-yard range is open from dawn to dusk.

Need help with your vehicle? The Auto Hobby Shop is at your disposal!  

Bowling or billiards in your blood? The Sage Brush Bowl is the place to be with 12 lanes with new AMF pinsetters and computer scoring. Have a bite to eat at Hot Stuff Pizza while you're there.

OUTDOORS - RECREATION

The Pony Express Outfitters offers rental of recreational and sports gear. A NAS Fallon Recreational Vehicle park is available and expanding to accommodate the popularity.

The May Ranch Stable offers active-duty military personnel a place to board their horses while stationed at NAS Fallon. This facility, located on the south side of the base, has accommodations for 20 horses with many extras, including an indoor arena, two round corrals and large outdoor arena.  See Topic Contact.

LIBERTY CENTER/SINGLE SAILOR, GEO BACHELOR PROGRAM:
The Liberty Center offers a variety of different activities. The 7,650 square foot facility has billiards, a game room, computer room, mini movie theater, two reading rooms, and a TV lounge room with a video checkout area. The Liberty Center also has a caf that offers a variety of different drinks and snacks. Also located in the Liberty Center  is the Information, Ticket and Tours Office (ITT). ITT is the place to purchase discount tickets to amusement parks, ski resorts, etc., or arrange exciting trips to Reno or Lake Tahoe for skiing or sightseeing. Special trips also can be arranged to visit historical sites or the numerous ghost towns in this area. Make arrangements in advance and reserve a 25- passenger bus with television/VCR monitors, dynamic stereo system, reclining seats and individual reading lights.  Leave the driving to MWR. The Graphics Department/Single Sailor Program is also located inside the Liberty Center. The Single Military Program/Geographic Bachelor program, called "LIBERTY", provides single, active-duty military and geographical bachelors with leisure activities, recreational events and trips to various amusement parks, tourist areas and sporting events. Call for more information.

There are three clubs: The Silver State Club Bar is one of the few Officer Clubs in existence.  The Sage and Sand caters to the enlisted Khaki. Finally, The Planet "X" is the enlisted club/Bar. It has a video arcade, pool tables and a dance floor.

NAS Fallon Youth Services provides numerous activities for all age groups. These activities include crafts, nature watch, sports & fitness activities and active and passive games.  A limited number of Teen programs are offered at the youth center.

NAS Fallon has one of the best Resource, Recovery, and Recycling Center's.  All hands are encouraged to utilize the program to better our environment.
