There are numerous events scheduled annually to appeal to a wide range of ages and interests.  The Naval Station Everett Youth Services has partnered with several community programs to provide many activities for our service members and their family.

Our Youth Services has partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Snohomish County to provide FREE drop in care for youth ages 5-18 at any of their 12 locations in the county.  Applications for this free membership can be picked up the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation office located in the Commons at the Naval Station or at the Boys and Girls Club directly.  At an additional cost, a Sports League is also available for our Navy youths (scholarship information is available if needed).  These are recreational leagues that every individual can participate in.  International service tournaments, including teams from our Navy bases at Whidbey, Banger, Bremerton, our Army and Air Force base as well. In partnership with Camp Adventure Youth Services, NAVSTA also offers eight (8) one week day camp sessions for youths ages 6-12 years of age.  Cost is based on Total Household Income (THI).

Special events including holiday parties, Easter egg hunts, youth fitness activities and pool parties are also available.  Authorized patrons are allowed to bring outside guests as long as they meet the age requirement for the activity.  Many of these activities are events that are at the Boys and Girls Club and most are free of charge.  If you like to swim or are looking for lesson for you and your children, our base pool is available with many different lessons through out the summer.

MWR in conjunction with Fleet & Family Support Programs sponsors annual events that highlight: Month of the Military Child (Tiger Day), Military Family Appreciation and Military Spouse Appreciation.  For our single military personnel, special ski weekends, tickets and transportation to athletic and music events in the community, weekends and holidays in nearby cities and destinations are just a sample of the opportunities available.

Naval Station Everett, Morale, Welfare and Recreation Services, Youth Services along with the community has regularly scheduled programs and activities through out the year.  For additional information contact the Youth Programs Office at 425-304-3964 or our MWR office at 425-304-3167.
