LOCATION
Naval Station Everett (NAVSTA) is located in the northwest corner of Washington State, in the city of Everett, 25 miles north of Seattle. Its proximity to Seattle offers our service members and their families the opportunity to visit and enjoy well known Pikes Place Market, Pioneer Square, The Pacific Science Center and the world famous Seattle Space Needle.
Eleven miles north of NAVSTA Everett is the Navy Support Complex. Here you will find the Fleet and Family Support Programs, Housing Office, Child Development Center Office, Commissary, Navy Exchange, Navy Federal Credit Union, Navy Marine Corps and Relief Society, Thrift Shop, Base Chapel, Visitors Quarters and Navy Lodge.
HISTORY
Naval Station Everett's history began in 1983 when the Secretary of the Navy first proposed a new Puget Sound area naval base as part of the Strategic Homeport concept. In November 1987, the official ground breaking ceremony took place. In June 1992, three navy ships participated in the formal opening of the new pier. January 1994, personnel from Naval Station Puget Sound began the transition to the recently completed Fleet Support and Administration building and officially began operations at Naval Station Everett.
POPULATION SERVED
There are about 6,000 Sailors and Civil Service persons assigned to commands located at Naval Station Everett. Naval Station itself has about 450 Sailors and Civilians assigned.
MISSION
The Mission of Naval Station Everett is to provide essential maintenance, quality of life services and operational and material support to tenant activities and U. S. Navy Operation Forces.

TEMPORARY QUARTERS
Single Sailors arriving Everett Naval Station will check in at the Quarterdeck in Bldg. 2000. Once you are checked in you will go to the Bachelors Enlisted Quarters in Bldg. 2026 be assigned a room. If you are assigned to a ship and it is in port, you should report directly to that ship. If you need additional information contact the BEQ 424-304-3111. New families arriving can contact the Navy Lodge at 360-653-6390 or at their Worldwide Reservation number 1800-NAVY-INN to make arrangements for a room when you arrive. If you are married and are without children, the Eagle's Nest which is our Visitors Quarters located in Bldg. 13918 at our Smokey Point Complex can be contacted for reservation at 425-304-4860.
