The purpose of the Family Readiness Program is to support
leadership in attaining mission readiness by providing education and services to
active forces and families to improve their life skills during military induced
separations. As a part of the AF Quality of Life Initiative, the
Family Readiness Program assists Elmendorf personnel and families in preparation
for, during and after deployments, extended TDY and remote tour assignments, by
providing:

Disaster preparedness & crisis intervention
Children's materials
Free calling cards

Spouse Connection Coffee Break: An opportunity for
spouses of deployed or remote tour active duty members to stop by the FSC for
discussion, friendship, and food. No reservations
necessary.
Cabin Fever Break: A great opportunity to get out
of the house, make new friends, and have fun. Learn how to play golf,
ski, snowshoeing, crafts and more. Free childcare.
