Youth Center
The Youth Center programs provide a wide variety of constructive leisure-time activities for youth, ages 5 to 18. The Youth Center facility includes a gymnasium/multi-purpose room, snack bar, television room, learning center, music room, general purpose room (with pool tables, arcade and video games, etc.), and a computer room (with internet access). The Youth Center is conveniently located next to Crawford Elementary School and across the street from Ben Eielson Junior and Senior High School. The youth center is also home to the Teen Center, which includes a snack bar open for lunch each day during the school year. High School students can have lunch in the lounge area (complete with music), then enjoy video games or use the computer room. The Youth and Teen Center is located in Bldg 5313, next door to Crawford Elementary School and across the street from Ben Eielson Junior/Senior High School.

Youth Center Sports
The center sponsors many athletic activities including soccer, baseball, softball, t-ball, football, cheerleading and basketball. Instructional programs include gymnastics, ballet, aerobics, piano and karate. The youth program is affiliated with Boys and Girls Clubs of America and many of the nationally known programs  have been implemented.

Teen Programs
The center is also home to the Teen Center, which includes a snack bar open for lunch each day during the school year. High School students have lunch in the lounge area (complete with music), then enjoy video games or the computer room.

Youth Employment
There are employment opportunities on base, North Pole and in the Fairbanks community.  Summer employment programs start in May of each year and run through September. Part time jobs may obtained at AAFES, NAF Human Resource Office and Burger King on Eielson. Youth job fairs for summer jobs are usually in March in Fairbanks. Teens can recieved advisement and counseling on how to search and apply for positions in the local community. They need to contact the Career Focus Manager at the Family Support Center at 907-377-2178.
