There is one Elementary school in North Pole. Children from
Kindergarten through 5th grade attend North Pole Elementary (NPE) which is in
the heart of downtown North Pole. As of July 1st 2004, all students entering
kindergarten must turn 5 years old prior to Sept 1st to be eligible to register.

Raven Correspondence is an accredited K-12 school that works
with military home school families bases throughout Alaska. We at Raven
understand the needs of our busy military families, especially in light of
increased deployments and demands placed on our members.
The focus of
our program is to provide you with unsurpassed quality services, limited
paperwork, and educational support by staff that have years of experience
working with our military families. We at RCS are committed to parental choice.
Moreover, we believe that RCS is successful because we do much of the paperwork,
allowing you to devote your precious time teaching your children. We believe and
trust RCS parents to put their children first.
The enrollment process is
simple. Once all the necessary documentation is received, we will send you a
letter of acceptance to schedule an appointment to create your Individual
Learning Plan (ILP) for the 2005-2006 school year. If your enrollment
application is not complete, your enrollment will be held pending receipt of all
the documents. Please note that funds will not be available until after 1 July
2005 with the official start to our school year.
Our program has also
partnered with Alyeska Central School which expands our course offering for
those families that want direct teacher support for their classes.
