Volunteer opportunities at Edwards are as diverse as our desert
is expansive. From the dental clinic to the legal office, volunteers
are gaining marketable job skills while helping our base community "do more with
less". The all-volunteer organizations, Family Services, the Thrift
Shop and the Red Cross are vital contributors here as elsewhere -- and always
looking for new enthusiastic volunteers to serve our
customers. Volunteering is a valuable way to make new friends, adjust
to our isolated environment, update your resume or learn new skills -- or to do
all of those things! Payment for child care for certain volunteering activities
may be available - be sure to ask. The Volunteer Resource Program
welcomes your willingness to share your time and ideas -- call the Family
Support Center to volunteer. You will make a difference.
