Welcome to the Special Needs Identification and Assignment
Coordination (SNIAC)process. Enrollment is mandatory once a special need is
identified. Some common methods of identifying special needs are: Family member
relocation clearance packages, assignment deferment process, the birth of a
special needs child, self-referral, and through other agencies such as doctors,
social workers, commanders/First Sergeants, and school officials. For more
