Family members living onboard Naval Weapons Station Earle attend
schools in the Tinton Falls School District, Tinton Falls,
NJ. Children in grades 9th through 12th will attend Monmouth Regional
High School.
Monmouth Regional High School presents a myriad of
challenges and opportunities to both the beginning and seasoned students. You
are encouraged to contact supervisors, guidance counselors or administrators to
answer any additional questions that you might have. You will have the
opportunity to meet with the guidance counselor, along with your parents and
teachers to develop a program of required courses need for
graduation.
This is a list of some of the current clubs and activities at
Monmouth Regional:
Band, Latin Club, Art Club, Marching Band, Chess Team,
Math Club, Computer Club, Physics Club, Congressional Awards, National Honor
Society, Forensic Club, Ski Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Video
Club, Jazz Club, Twirling/Color Guard, as well as thirty other clubs and
activities not listed. There is also a very extensive Athletic Program, which
includes such sports as football, soccer, tennis, wrestling, softball, baseball,
cheerleading and track and field. There are a total of eighteen different sports
offered. In order to be eligible to participate in the program, students must
meet certain requirements. Freshmen are automatically eligible. Students must be
passing a minimum number of credits to participate.
There are in excess
of 50 private/nonpublic schools to include religious and preparatory
schools. Tuition varies considerably. Some schools have
tuition assistance.
