The Brighter Futures Child Development Center provides care from
06:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding
holidays. The center cares for children from 6 weeks old to
Kindergarten age. It is located in Building C-60, adjacent to the
Stark Road and Laurelwood housing areas. The center's capacity for all groups
are as follows:
Infants 6 weeks to one year old - 8
Pre-toddlers 1 -
10
Pre-toddlers 2 - 10
Toddlers 2 years to 3 years old (1) -
14
Toddlers 2 years to 3 years old (2) - 14
Pre-school 3 years to 5 years
old - 24
Fees are based on total family income. There are no
registration fees. Drop-ins are on a space available
basis.
Care is also provided in child development
homes. Please call the Child Development Center for a list of
providers.
