Military spouses may be eligible for preference in DOD
employment. You must accompany your military spouse on a PCS to his
new duty station. Other federal aagencies do not have spouse
preference programs. For DOD spouses not currently employed by
federal civilian agencies, hiring freezes and other restrictions do apply.
Government positions are few due to downsizing.
