There are two installations near Davis-Monthan
AFB.
FORT HUACHUCA
The closest installation and Army Base
to Davis-Monthan is Fort Huachuca, located to our Southeast, in Sierra Vista,
Arizona. Fort Huachuca is near the US-Mexico border in Southeastern
Arizona. To get to Fort Huachuca from Interstate 10, take exit 302 just west of
Benson, Arizona. Follow Arizona State Route 90 approximately 25 miles
to the main gate. This will be on the right and the second traffic light after
passing through Huachuca City.
The base is approximately 2 hours from
Davis-Monthan AFB.
LUKE AFB
To our Northwest is our sister Air Force
Base, Luke. The base is just West of the city of Phoenix, in
Glendale, AZ. To get to Luke AFB take the Litchfield Road Exit #128
from I-10. The base is approximately 5 miles to the
north. The base is approximately 3 hours from Davis-Monthan
AFB.
