Beginning with the Family Support Center, there are a number of agencies that are standing by to assist you in your time of need.  Whether it is financial, natural disaster, or an unfortunate death, the base is here to assist.

These contacts can get you started on the road to recovery:

The Air Force Aid Society can assist with financial needs by providing no interest loans or even grants for verifiable emergency financial situations.  The process is handled by the Family Support Center through the unit First Sergeant.

The Red Cross can provide you with emergency notification services for you and your family.  They can notify family members of disasters and can provide emergency services for you and your family during disasters.

The Casualty Office assists with all phases of death of the military member.  They provide assistance to the next-of-kin of deceased active duty and retired AF personnel in applying for various AF benefits.  They also act as a referral office for social security and Veterans Administration benefits.

Mortuary Affairs is responsible for all activities including search and rescue, identification, arrangements, and transportation for the deceased personnel under the jurisdiction of Davis-Monthan AFB.

See contacts/links for more assistance.
