The Spouse Employment Assistance Program (SEAP) offers a full
range of job search services that include workshops on Resume Writing, Job
Search Strategies, Career Planning, Federal Employment and Interview
Techniques.
One on one counseling is available as well as computers
equipped with internet access and word processing software for client
use.

NEXStep:
NEXStep is a US Dept. of Labor funded
grant for transition program. The goal is to provide displaced
military spouses and some federal employees with free career counseling and
training resources.
Eligibility Requirements for
NEXStep:
1. DOD civilian employees who qualify as dislocated
workers under the Workforce Investment Act.
2. Military spouses
who qualify as dislocated workers/displaced homemakers under the Workforce
Investment Act, including those military spouses who quit their job to follow
the military person on orders into or out of the Hampton Roads
area.
