Naval Dental Center Mid-Atlantic consists of Dental Clinic Headquarters, located outside Gate 2 of Naval Station Norfolk, and 8 branch clinics throughout Hampton Roads. The clinics provide full service dental care to all active-duty personnel of shore-based and Atlantic Fleet units which do not have their own dental facilities. Retired personnel and other authorized beneficiaries receive dental treatment on a space available basis.
Branch Dental Clinic, Dam Neck has 21 dental operating rooms including a two room oral surgery suite and recovery room. The clinic is currently staffed by 5 dental officers and 14 dental technicians. Branch Dental Clinic, Dam Neck provides full comprehensive dental care to eligible beneficiaries. Specialty care in prosthetics is also available at the branch. As Naval Dental Center, Norfolk's only Phase One Clinic, our primary task is completing the urgent dental treatment needs of sailors graduating from NTC, Great Lakes and enrolled at the various "A" schools on the Dam Neck base.
