EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE
Our goal is to help prepare the
individual for a successful job search by orienting the individual to the
economic area, reviewing resumes, enumerating the resources available, and
detailing the techniques and strategies necessary for success, and to educate
individuals to understand the employer mind, to recognize their own value and
potential, to be able to express their assets to the employer through written
and oral communication, and thus to succeed in obtaining their employment goals.
We will do all we can to support and sustain positive partnerships as we
work together to accomplish this goal.
Positions in the health field are
readily available due to a high concentration of medical
facilities. Registered nurses generally are able to earn comparable
salaries to outside areas.
Other occupations may experience a
decrease in salary. The remainder of the job sector provides
opportunities in services, sales and administrative positions, while highly
specialized and professional positions are limited.
