Clear has a modern self-sufficient medical clinic staffed by a
civilian physician assistant. In extreme emergencies, air evacuation
is available to either Eielson AFB or Fort Wainwright. Routine
medical appointments can also be done at Eielson. The medical facility at Clear
provides care for military dependents on an emergency basis
only. Most dependent care will usually result in a trip to
Fairbanks.
Dental support is provided through Eielson
AFB. Personnel from the dental flight come to Clear periodically to
perform annual exams. All other dental care is done at
Eielson.
