The New Parent Support Program (NPSP) is a professional team of
social workers and nurses who provide supportive and caring services to military
families.
The NPSP offers Daddy's Baby Boot Camp, Mom's Basic Training,
Parent Classes, Referrals, Playmorning, and Home
Visiting.
Daddy's Baby Boot Camp and Mom's Basic Training are
classes that provide expectant parents and those with an infant an understanding
of the infant's world and the basic skills necessary for loving
care.
Parent classes provide "hands on" information for parents to make
informed, responsible decisions about their toddlers and young
children.
Assistance wtih information and referrals provides help for
finding the appropriate military and community services.
Playmorning is
an interactive play group designed to teach parents developmentally appropriate
play and to help children improve their social, cognitive, and motor
skills.
Home visits help with your concerns as a parent of parent-to-be
in the privacy of your home by a warm, caring professional.
