There are three school districts in the local commuting
area.
The base resides in Charleston County and therefor
their children go to Charleston County Schools. The elementary
schools that support the base are Lambs Elementary and Hunley Park Elementary.
Many families who choose to live off base prefer Dorchester District
Schools however Berkeley County is also popular. There are some
excellent schools in parts of Charleston County.
