Family Member Employment Assistance Program
(FMEAP)
FMEAP includes the following
services:
* Job openings and employers lists at the Army
Community Service Office Resource Center. Information covers federal,
state, and private sector employment, education, and volunteer
opportunities. Additional information on federal jobs are located at
Civilian Personnel Office's One Stop.
* Job search and
employment training workshops on such topics as "Dress for Success," "How to
Conduct Yourself in an Interview," "Financial Planning and Employment
Decisions," "Career Opportunities for the 90's," "Life Choices," "Building a
Support Network," "Time Management/Stress Management," and "Success on the Job"
from September thru April.
* Individual job/career assistance
and counseling on an appointment schedule.
* Career resource
library for on-location/sign-out review and annotated bibliography of career
materials.
* Transition Assistance Program (TAP) training is
offered on an as-needed basis for those individuals (military and civilian)
involuntarily/voluntarily departing the employment of the Federal
Government.
