IAW AFI 36-3003, you must have your gaining commander's
permission to take permissive TDY for house hunting.
Note: If
you get married before you PCS, you must inform your commander and follow the
procedures exactly as you are given them, the military will pay for travel and
housing of your spouse if you do not follow proper procedures. See
overview section
Instructions will accompany your welcome packet from
your sponsor. If you have not received sponsor information within 45
days of your PCS, please go through the INTRO Manager at your current
base.
You are required to attend our RIGHT START held in the
Consolidated Club the first and third Wednesday of each month at
0730. Spouses welcome. Call DSN: 681-2033 for
details. AFI 36-3003 requires you to receive your gaining commander's
written permission prior to any permissive house hunting.
