The Onslow Women's Center is a private and non-profit
organization incorporated in 1983 to serve the needs of victims of domestic
violence, sexual assault, and court advocacy. The center provides a
safe haven and a peaceful, healing environment, which facilitates the recovery
process. This shelter has a 29-bed capacity for housing battered
women and their children. Available services include shelter,
transportation, rape crisis/sexual assault counseling, domestic violence
counseling, support groups, children programs, and information and referral.
