Fort Knox is a certified Kentucky city,
covering 109,054 acres or about 170.4 square miles. It is the sixth largest
urban community in the Commonwealth of Kentucky with a long and rich history.
Fort Knox is adjacent to the city of Radcliff, 15 miles north of Elizabethtown,
and approximately 35 miles south of
Louisville.
The Muscatatuck Urban
Training Center (MUTC) is developing to become a
full-immersion contemporary urban operating environment. It will be a
place where both civilian and military organizations can set the standards,
improve the skills and test the systems and concepts to "Defend the Homeland"
and "Win the Peace." 50 miles south of
Indianapolis.

Air Force Base is the largest, most diverse and organizationally complex Air
Force base in the U.S. Its mind-boggling array of services include worldwide
logistics supporting the entire Air Force, aeronautical research and
development, home for more than 70 units, second-largest medical center in the
branch, and about 10,000 scientists and engineers. Located in
Ohio.
The Air Reserve Base is home to an Air
Force refueling wing, located on the former grounds of Grissom Air Force Base, a
former bomber base which closed October 1994. Sharing the former Air Force Base
facilities is the civilian Grissom Aeroplex airport.

Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane), located in Crane, Indiana
is a shore command of the United States Navy under the Naval Sea Systems Command
headquartered in Washington D.C.
The focus of NSWC
Crane is harnessing the power of technology for the Warfighter. We specialize in
the Acquisition and Fleet support of Electronics, Ordnance and Electronic
Warfare products and systems. Our main facility is located in south-central
Indiana with a detachment in Fallbrook, California.
We have employees deployed around the world with
the Fleet, major sponsors and industry partners and we are virtually at the
Sailor's side with our Distance Support technology.
Visitors should enter the base through the Bloomington Gate at the junction of
Indiana highways 45 and 58, or the Crane Gate on Indiana highway 558
approximately one mile east of US 231.
