By Colorado state law all school-age children must be provided
with education opportunities including children with special needs.
All
school districts are required to provide a free education to all handicapped or
special needs children, ages 3 to 21. By state law, all school
districts also provide special education to preschool children if
needed. Large school districts will have separate Special Education
Departments to manage the specialized programs necessary to provide equal
education access in a least restrictive environment.

All
individual cases and should be referred to Exceptional Family Member Program
