newspapers.Most employment in the region is in the service sector. The top ten
employers are all public agencies. However, the area does have a diverse
population of smaller companies that need employees. Those who are willing to
commute to the Seattle or Tacoma areas significantly broaden their employment
opportunities and find higher salaries.
