The mission of the Laurel Bay School-Age Care, Youth and Teen
program is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full
potential as productive, responsible, and caring individuals. Our goal is to
provide an affordable, safe place to learn and grow, ongoing relationships with
caring, adult professionals, and offer life-enhancing programs that promote
character development.
We offer a comprehensive composite of diverse
activities contributing to the well-being of school-age care children (ages 6-12
years old), youth (ages 9-12 years old), and teens (ages 13-18 years old) of
military personnel; DoD civilian personnel, active duty Coast Guard, reservists
on active duty or during inactive duty for training, and DoD contract personnel
who are performing mission related duty on the installations. Retirees may be
eligible when a waiting list does not exist and space is available.
All
activities shall be diverse, engaging, and appealing to youth and teens from
different backgrounds to help develop their strengths and
competencies. The School-age care program works on a project based
theme curricula. Your child will be doing many fun and exciting
projects.
