Yuba City has a mall with major chain stores including Ross,
Gottschalks, JC Penney and Sears. Numerous chain stores, specialty stores and
restaurants are located within the mall. Other Yuba City stores include Target,
K-mart, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and Home Depot. A Wal-Mart and Mervyns are located
in the Marysville.
Additional shopping malls and shopping areas are
located in Sacramento, Chico, Vacaville, and Roseville. These shopping areas are
within a 1 - 1 1/2 hours of Beale. Vacaville, located near Travis
AFB, has a large outlet mall.
Dining opportunities abound in the local
area. All ethnic foods and American favorites are available. From major
franchise restaurants to quaint family-owned restaurants, the local communities
offer a wealth of dining options. Because of the large number of ethnic groups
in the region, Beale residents can experience some of the best ethnic food in
the world.
