The Family Advocacy Program provides a wide range of services and
programs for individuals and families.
Young children, family
members, and work can challeng parents to a point of being at
risk. Family Advocacy has anger awareness classes, parenting classes,
Dads 101, and Moms, Pops, & Tots. The Family Advocacy Nurse also
offers home visits to new parents to assist them with their new baby and the
challenges and questions posed by new parenthood. The Bundles for Babies class,
hosted by the Family Support Center, is held with the assistance of Family
Advocacy. The program is for all expecting parents and helps with the emotional,
relationship and financial challenges of becoming a parent.
Families who
can not be seen or because of time constraints can see local community Family
Advocacy programs once they receive their TRICARE/TRIWEST referral.
