Youth/teen sponsorship is available at
MCLB-Barstow. Just contact the Youth Activities Center and request a
youth/teen sponsor.
MCLB Barstow Youth Activities Center located in the
Clara B. McKinney Youth Complex is located in the housing area, a short walk
from the MCLB Barstow front gate.
Activities for Teens in Barstow include
Youth Sports through Barstow Park and Recreation, Early Admission to Barstow
Community College for High School Students and work and shopping
opportunities.
Public transportation is located just outside
the front gate. The main employment opportunities for teens are at
the two outlet malls, and teens also find employment opportunities at a variety
of fast food merchants.
