station, always call you new command and tell them about the situation and
request advice if needed. I
f possible, look for the nearest
military installation for assistance.
The Navy Marine Corps
relief Society if financial assistance or emergency repairs/housing is
needed. The local office of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society,
located in Building 204, is open Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For
emergencies, contact the base sergeant major at (760) 577-6238. The
office phone number is (760) 577-6627 or 256-1378.
The Thrift Store is
open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Staffed by
volunteers and supported by contributions, NMCRS can be the first line of
defense against financial problems.
Its goal is to help
active-duty and retired members of the Navy and Marine Corps deal with real
emergencies. Among its many services, NMCRS can provide financial
counseling, budgeting or direct financial assistance. Service members
are seen by appointment.
Call AAA if you are a member, or
ask the local information operator (411) for the name and phone number of a
hospital, road side service information depending on the emergency.In the event
of an emergency or crisis the MCCS-Personal Services has a list of personnel who
are on call to assist with a pending crisis.

one of the following caring professionals in the record listings. Or
if the emergency can't wait until morning, contact the Base Duty
Officer or the Military Police Department for immediate
help.
A counselor from MCCS Personal Services will be
"beeped" and respond to the crisis.
