TRAFFIC Hawai'i State traffic laws apply on
PMRF. Seat belts are mandatory. State, local and base
officials can stop vehicles for suspected non use of seat
belts. Child seats/restraints are mandatory for children under 40
pounds.
VEHICLE CHECKS All vehicles entering or leaving PMRF
are subject to search.
SAFETY INSPECTIONS A safety inspection is required
in the State of Hawai'i. Your vehicle must be inspected as soon as it
is picked up. All vehicles operated on public highways must have an
official safety inspection once a year.
