NAS is a closed base requiring identification to enter.  You will be required to obtain decals.  You will need your vehicle registration, proof of valid insurance, military ID and State drivers license.  Please insure that you bring those items with you while traveling.

Traffic:  Seat belts are mandatory in the State of Georgia and are enforced on base at all times for all passengers.  Infant car seats and child restraints are also mandatory.

Vehicle Checks:  Periodic, random inspections of vehicles on base.  Most of the Metro Atlanta counties call for an annual inspection of the emission system of the vehicle.

Accidents:  Very low rate on base, very high rate off base in Metro Atlanta area.

Crime Stop:  Many residents of the Metro Atlanta area are participating in the "Stop The Violence" Program.

Restricted areas on base are posted.

Photography:  Check with Security prior to using photographic equipment on base.
