Summer and Year Round Camp Support by Child and Youth Behavioral Military and Family Life Counselors

A camp experience can provide a number of benefits for our military kids. Besides giving kids a break from their daily routines, camps specifically designed for military families can also help your kids learn to better manage the stresses of long deployments and frequent relocations. Spending time with other kids who know just what they are going through can be really helpful.
As school starts up again, remember that there are still camp opportunities for military kids. There are also other resources available to help your kids manage the separations that come with a deployment or another move to a new community. Children and Youth Behavioral Military and Family Life Counselors (CYB-MFLCs) support a number of fun and exciting summer programs and also provide year-round support for military kids.
