There are no restaurants in the local area of Terra or Skull
Valley. The nearest off-post restaurants are located in Tooele, 45
miles away (over the pass) or in Salt Lake City, approximately 85 miles away.
The Dugway Mall is located in Bldg. 5326 on Valdez Circle. It
houses the Dugway Thrift Shop (Treasures from the Heart), Dugway Federal Credit
Union, Dugway Hair Salon/Barber Shop, Dugway Vet Clinic and Dugway Post
Office.
Dugway residents, employees, and visitors can choose from the
several eateries on post, which include The Community Club/Mess Hall, Subway,
and The Ditto Diner. Hot dogs and other refreshments may also be
purchased at the PX/AAFES and the Commissary.
Local sale tax does not
apply at the Dugway Base or any othe
military BX/PX. There is a 5%
surcharge when shopping at the commissary. The local sales tax off
base is 6.00% in Tooele and 6.60% in Salt Lake City.
