LOCAL COAST GUARD SHUTTLE:
The Coast Guard operates 2 FREE shuttle services - a southbound shuttle (CG Housing) and a northbound shuttle (Broward County). The southbound shuttle runs between CEU (located adjacent to Richmond Heights housing), Brickell Plaza Federal Building, and Causeway Island. The shuttle departs CEU at 6AM, arriving Brickell Plaza Federal Building at 6:35AM, and then travels onto Causeway Island arriving at 6:55AM. The shuttle then departs Causeway Island at 3:35PM, arriving Brickell Plaza Federal Building at 3:45PM, and then travels onto CEU arriving at 4:30PM.
The northbound shuttle service runs between C.B. Smith Park and Ride entrance off of Pines Boulevard in Broward County, Brickell Plaza Federal Building, and Causeway Island. The shuttle departs C.B. Smith Park and Ride entrance at 6AM, arriving Brickell Plaza Federal Building at 6:35AM, and then travels onto Causeway Island arriving at 6:55AM. The shuttle then departs Causeway Island at 3:35PM, arriving Brickell Plaza Federal Building at 3:45PM, and then travels onto C.B. Smith Park and Ride arriving at 4:35PM.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SUBSIDY:
The U.S. Coast Guard is eligible for a Public Transportation Subsidy. If you plan on riding the Tri-Rail, MetroRail, or MetroBus system, you will reimbursed up to $60/month for your transportation costs. This program allows you to save money on gas and wear and tear on your car, and even more importantly, your stress level in South Florida traffic!
