The Redstone Arsenal shopping complex on Vincent Drive and Goss Road, near Gate 8, offers one-stop shopping conveniences to active and retired military, national guard, reserve personnel, and family members. In addition to a large main exchange, the shopping complex features a number of small shops all co-located in the Main Post Exchange. The shops include Anthony's Pizza, an automatic teller machine, barber shop, beauty shop, flower shop, tailor shop, optical shop, Cinabon, General Nutrition Center, Robin Hood Deli sandwiches, Baskin-Robbins and Church's Fried Chicken.
The Branch Exchange, Bldg 3234, is open from 7 a.m.-11 p.m. and services include a shoppette, Class Six package store, video rental, and gasoline sales. Call 883-0367 for information.

Consignment sales of everything from clothing to furniture to books. Hours of operation for sales are from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Wednesday-Friday; open on the first Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. for sales only. Consignment by appointment only are held Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Walk-in consignments are taken on Fridays from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed and greatly appreciated.
Community Shopping and Food
Huntsville and Madison have many specialty shops, general merchandise stores, and outlets. Two major shopping malls, Parkway City Mall and Madison Square Mall, are located off post within easy driving distance from the housing area.
The real bargains can be found in the numerous yard sales, flea markets, and antique stores in the area. For the die hard shopper, plans need to be made to travel to nearby Boaz, a famous city of shopping outlets and Scottsboro for its First Mondays.
Madision Square Mall at the junction of Rideout Road and University Drive, has over 140 major stores, a food court, restaurants, and a theater complex.
Parkway Place Mall at the junction of Memorial Parkway and Drake Avenue, has 52 shops, a restaurant, and food stalls.
