Public Transportation in the area surrounding Fort Dix is minimal, except for local taxi service.
Bus transportation is available from Fort Dix/McGuire AFB to Philadelphia, New York City and points in between. However, a POV will be necessary for working, shopping or medical appointments off Fort Dix.
There is no Bus Terminal at Fort Dix. Buses stop next to the Transportation Office, building 5139 (Wrightstown-Pemberton Rd.) New Jersey Transit tickets can be purchased from the driver. For NJ Transit information call 1-800-772-2222.

This airport shuttle provides service to/from the Philadelphia Airport (only) to Fort Dix and surrounding communities.
