531 square miles. It has a population of approximately
222,000. There are approximately 109,000 in the total work
force. A large number of the jobs are in retail trade and the
manufacturing of durable goods. In Niagara County you will find that there is a
wide range of shopping, attractions and recreational opportunities available
throughout the entire year. Living in Niagara County allows you to
experience the changing of the four seasons. With each season change
comes new opportunities for different recreational pleasures.
The surrounding
towns and villlages: (Lewiston,Lockport,Wheatfield,Sanborn and North
Tonawanda)
are all relativley small communities that provide various
attractions. Each has its on local newspaper that provide information on
community events.
