Island Transit provides fare free service between the north and south end of Whidbey Island. Schedules can be picked up at the Oak Harbor Public Library, the Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce, and on the bus. All transit buses are wheelchair accessible.
Shuttle service is provided to and from SEATAC airport via the Airporter Shuttle or the Whidbey-SeaTac Shuttle service. Kenmore Air Service, a small commuter seaplane that flies from Lake Union in Seattle directly into the marina in downtown Oak Harbor, provides air transportation to the island. A free shuttle service is provided from SEATAC airport to Lake Union to board the seaplane. Reservations for the Airporter Shuttle, Whidbey-SeaTac Shuttle, and Kenmore Air must be arranged by the traveler.
