A shuttle bus is available to transport personnel from the
composite area to the operations and security work centers. Hours are
posted at each of the shuttle stops.
Transportation off-site is provided
through the "med run" which goes to Fairbanks and Eielson AFB on Mondays and
Wednesdays. The med run is used for official travel and on a
space-available basis for personal travel. The med run leaves around
0730 and returns around 1600.
A government vehicle can also be procured
from transportation for official business. During the months of Oct -
Apr, a minimum of 2 personnel per GOV is mandatory. Trips are
consolidated when possible to reduce the number of trips into Fairbanks.
