The shuttle buses are operated by HRT but these buses are free to
military and civilian personnel. The shuttle bus signs are posted at
each stop with the route details. The buses drive in a continuous loop around
the base at approximately 30-minute intervals. The use of these buses helps to
alleviate traffic congestion and parking as well as offer a mode of
transportation to our military personnel who are stationed on ships or in the
barracks.

Hampton Roads Regional Transit Service
(HRT) serves the entire Hampton Roads area along with many area
bases. An "exact fare" policy is enforced--drivers carry no
change. Monthly passes are available. For routes and
