The Family Advocacy Programs(FAP)primary goal is to prevent
spouse abuse and child abuse and neglect by providing a variety of services to
strengthen Army families.
Emphasis is placed on attaining full compliance
with the 60 DoD Quality Assurance Standards. These DoD Standards have
been refined and stream lined to make compliance more readily
attainable. The ACS Strategic Plan includes FAP
in the Army
Community Service accreditation program. Using performance outcomes,
FAP will implement a performance based management structure and conduct
evaluation studies to demonstrate the value added by family advocacy programs
and services.
Programs:
Prevention, Parent Education, Home Visitation,
Enhancing Relationship, Crisis-Intervention, Commanders Education, Family Life,
Resource Library and a Variety of Support Groups.
