The Youth Center offers an excellent Before and After
School/Summer Day Camp Program, available to school age children in Kindergarten
through sixth grade. Sign-ups are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and
based on the Air Force priority system. Cost is based on total family income.
Summer Day Camp registration begins the last week in April. The Before and After
School program registration takes place the first week in June. Call

The program includes activity clubs, including drama, science and nature and a
computer lab. The program was enhanced with a new $50,000 playground. During
school closures, there will be full day activities and field trips. See the

The Youth Center offers a teen job bank. There is a listing of job
opportunities available in the teen lounge for eligible youth. The Career Focus
Manager can assist youth of AD members to obtain part time or summer employment.

(5430). The Youth Center is open to all eligible youth of the Andrews
community. This facility offers youth and teen recreation areas,
gymnasium, dance room, TV room/theater, and more. The School-Age
Program provides five classrooms. New features are a full-sized
playground, and a computer lab with 15 new computers with Internet capability,
and 2 game rooms. The Youth Center is open for children ages 5 to 18
years. It has a part-day enrichment program and before and after care
for children in 1st to 6th grades. Call 301-981-5636 for information.
