Fort Benning, Moody AFB, and Robins AFB are approximately 1 1/2
to 2 hour drive from Albany. Kings Bay takes a bit longer, since it
is located on the Georgia coast just north of Jacksonville,
FL. Atlanta also has some military installations (including Fort
McPherson, NAS Atlanta, and Fort Gillem). Fort Stewart
(Hinesville/Savannah) and Fort Gordon (Augusta) are both about 3-4 hours
away.
