The state of Georgia has developed a tuition assistance program
for college education from their state lottery income. Active duty
military and dependents may be eligible for the HOPE grant. Albany Technical
Institute has been granted a state residency waiver. HOPE will not
pay for an academic degree unless the individual changes state residency to
Georgia. HOPE then requires 45 credit hours and a "B" average before
