In Georgia, child protective services are provided in each county
by the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS). Services
provided include investigations of suspected abuse and/or neglect of children,
assistance programs such as Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, Food Stamps,
Peach Care, and others.
